Responsibilities:
- Calculate the cost of order and charge the exact amount to the customer.
- Make change if necessary.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Assist customers by answering their questions, giving them specific information, and resolving their problems.
- Calculate sales tax and receive payment from customers in a deferential manner.
- Have knowledge of basic accounting principles such as cash/credit, credit/cash, sales tax/no-sales tax, and price/barcode.
- Keep a log of items sold and issues with customers.
- Keep the checkout area organized.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
